About Colonial Day Colonial Day is held on the second Saturday of every September and features over 100 traditional craft vendors, demonstrations of quilting, candle and paper-making and fine food. Admissions is free. A handmade quilt is designed and hand stitch each year typically by members of the Society. It is raffled off on Colonial Day with other articles such as Pennsylvania German Red Ware pottery, Tin ware and a chalk ware replica of our log house. All raffle items are donated by the artisans. Volunteers staff our food and beverage booths. We sell hot dogs, sausage sandwiches, funnel cakes, and pig roast sandwiches.
